Pianist Allen Madsen has been an active performer and accompanist for over 20 years in Washington and Utah. He holds a bachelor's degree in music education from Utah State University and a master's in music education from the University of Utah. He began his teaching career as a high school instrumental music teacher in Salt Lake City, UT. For the past several years, Allen has taught orchestra, guitar, and mariachi classes in the Pasco School District. He currently teaches full-time at Ellen Ochoa Middle School and is the director of Mariachi Halcón del Río at Chiawana High School. Allen has also worked as a music director for Mid-Columbia Musical Theater. A choral highlight of his life is singing baritone in a single performance with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. He lives in Kennewick with his wife, Jessica, and their five sons.
